NDIS Rostering Manager
About the role
Lets Get Support is seeking an experienced NDIS Rostering Manager to join our team in Lismore, NSW. This part-time role will be approx 20-25 hours per week involves coordinating staff rostering and service coordination to facilitate essential support services for our NDIS participants, ensuring they receive the care and assistance they need to live independently.
The Rostering Manager is responsible for the efficient and effective management of staff rosters to ensure optimal coverage, operational efficiency, compliance with industrial awards and workplace agreements, and alignment with business needs. This role ensures the right people are scheduled at the right time, balancing business requirements with employee preferences and legal obligations.
The Rostering Manager works closely with department heads, HR, and payroll teams to create and maintain accurate, cost-effective, and fair rosters while supporting workforce planning and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities

Roster Development & Management
-
Utiilise rostering software to create, publish, and manage staff rosters in accordance with operational requirements, budget constraints, and compliance obligations.

Ensure rosters are prepared in a timely manner to allow staff adequate notice and treat all staff fairly.

Communicate calmly and clearly by phone or face to face to both participants , family members, and staff.

Adjust and update rosters to manage absences, shift swaps, unplanned leave, and operational changes.

Receive support requests and assess whether Lets Get Support have the staff with relevant qualifications to complete the tasks required.

Workforce Planning

Analyse staffing levels, workload trends, and operational forecasts to ensure appropriate coverage.

Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing gaps and support recruitment planning.

Compliance & Reporting
-
Ensure rosters comply with SCHADS award, Fair Work legislation, and workplace policies. and employee entitlements
-
Prepare regular reports on roster effectiveness, labour costs, and utilisation.

Systems & Process Improvement
-
Use rostering software and workforce management systems to streamline scheduling processes.
-
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance staff satisfaction.

Train and support managers and staff on rostering systems and procedures.

Stakeholder Engagement
-
Act as a key contact for roster-related queries, ensuring clear communication with staff and management.

Work collaboratively with HR and payroll to resolve discrepancies or issues.

Support a positive and fair workplace culture through transparent scheduling practices.

Identify and notify Management of any foreseen conflict of interest.

Key Selection Criteria
Essential:
-
Demonstrated experience in rostering or very high organisational skills.
-
Strong understanding of SCHADS Award and employment legislation.
-
Excellent organisational and time management skills with attention to detail.
-
Proficiency in rostering software and workforce management systems.
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable:
-
Experience in using Rostering in NDIS and understanding of NDIS price arrangement and funding options.

Experience leading or supervising a rostering or scheduling team.

Knowledge of payroll processes and integration with rostering systems.
Qualifications
-
Diploma in Business Administration, Human Resources, Operations Management or related field (or equivalent experience).

Certification or training in workforce management software (highly regarded).
Performance Indicators

Compliance with legal, award, and policy requirements.

Labour cost management within budget targets.

Reduction in unplanned overtime and shift gaps.

Lets Get Support is seeking Disbility Support Workers to join our team in Northern Rivers of NSW.
About the role
Support Shifts required to fill are personal care shifts starting at 6.30am and evening shifts that start at 6.30pm. additional shifts between these times are also available.
Join the passionate team at Lets Get Support as a casual Support Worker in Northern Rivers of NSW. In this varied and rewarding role, you will provide essential care and support to individuals living with disabilities or aged care needs, helping them to lead fulfilling, independent lives.
Key Tasks
Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and domestic tasks
Facilitate community access and social inclusion by accompanying clients on outings and activities

Implement client-specific support plans and contribute to their ongoing development

Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with organisational policies and procedures

What we’re looking for

A genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities and a commitment to making a positive difference in their lives

Relevant qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent preferred

Experience providing person-centred care and support a plus, preferably in a disability or aged care setting

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively
-
Resourcefulness, flexibility, and the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
-
A current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
